Welcome to C.A.C.L. Gymnastics Club
The staff at C.A.C.L. Gym Club offer a warm welcome to join our Gymnastics Club, based at the University of Brighton, Denton Road, Meads, Eastbourne, which is open during the school terms. The Club was established in 1983 and throughout the years we have had the pleasure of working with many children and families. Some of our early gymnasts are now bringing their own children to C.A.C.L.!
In December 2007 C.A.C.L. Gym Club was among the first 400 in the country to be officially recognised by the British Gymnastics Association and was awarded the prestigious GymMark status. Clubs are assessed and tested and need to prove they are safe, effective and child friendly to achieve this reccognition.
Our club is registered with the British Gymnastics Association, Sussex AGA and South East AGA, so all club members are required to take out BG insurance which is due annually on 1st October (£15.00). C.A.C.L. membership is due separately on 1st January each year (£13.50).
Facilities
The Club has two excellent gymnasiums one of which has a matted floor area, portable tumble track and trampoline, and the other is equipped with excellent gym mats, safety mats, beams, asymmetric bars, vaulting apparatus, benches, trampettes and foam junior gym equipment, which is all regularly checked and maintained. Parents can equally enjoy the large reception area overlooking the pool and also have access to the Sprinters Restaurant whilst sessions are in progress. Open sessions allowing parents to watch their children happen two weeks before the end of each term, of which you will be notified.
